What do you do?
I spend most of my work day involved in one real estate facet or the other...so basically I sweat a lot right now!

I am the Managing Partner of Peoples Mortgage, Inc and the President of Park Place Title & Escrow. I am currently a partner in one commercial project and two seperate residential developments. (Did I mention I was real sweaty??)

Less sweaty activities include my positions as Chief Manager of Worlds Fair, LLC and I sit on the Board of Directors of Tribe One Ministries. And, in the fall, I am the Commissioner of the Smoky Mountain Fantasy Football League.

Who are you? Tell us a little about you...
I am a steward. None of this is mine, but His. At times I manage it well. When I try and do so on my own - not so well.

I am fortunate that the Lord placed me with a wonderful women who I have been married to for 10 years. I have 3 incredible children (at 1, 3 & 6) that teach me MUCH.

I enjoy business development and strategy. I am an organization freak and the initial cynic behind many good and succesful ideas.

You hook 'em - I'll reel 'em in, clean 'em up and serve 'em with a glaze of efficiency and a few cost effective side items.

Thanks Ronnie! It is good to hear from you. I hope you and David are doing great? I have the 3 minutehomeloan page that I actually was getting ready to present to a bank or mortgage lender. Maybe we can talk. I really appreciate you saying hello.

OK. I can do first hour - or even meet at church earlier. If that won't work for you, just shoot out some dates and times that work for you.

Ronnie; Met with the group for the first time this AM. I used to be an operations manager for Koreteck. Price points are in-line with metal studs. There are a lot of factors; most of which are based on the building. typically 7.00 / sft of wall and another $2 for install. Lets chat more.

Hey bro, Glad you are on board with the website. Are you going to the meeting Wednesday morning? If so, let's talk there. If not, let's hook up at church this Sunday.

Hey Ronnie!

Glad you asked about "Zillion..." Right now it's quite a semi-kept secret. We're putting together a joint-venture, cross-marketing group of 150 "excusive category" businesses, and we're intending to start our own economy, within the group. With our own "money!" Sort of like (not really) BNI on Nitro with a Rocket Booster. Automated. Trackable. Serious Software. Been refining the model for several years, and want to launch it as soon as we can quietly recruit the "seed" group of businesses. One Realtor, One Mortgage Co., one CPA, one Deck Builder, one Dress Shop, one Men's Clothing, one Cruise Line, etc. etc. Meet me for coffee sometime at Panera's on Peters Rd and I'll tell you all about it. Meanwhile we're working on an additional module that is pretty much guaranteed to put any one of the Zillion Members on the 1st page of Google, within a few weeks. Pretty Cool. By the way, the website is not live yet. Working on a couple things about that. -- "DrScot"

Peoples Mortgage Market Update 7/28

There was good economic news on Friday as New Home Sales for June and Orders for Durable Goods were far better than expected. And good economic news about the economy is bad news for Bonds, which caused money to flow right back out of Bonds into Stocks, keeping Bonds and home loan rates from bouncing up any higher. So after a week that saw the 30 year fixed rate get as high as 6.625%, we have today's bond price declining by 80 basis points and allowing the same 30 year fixed rate to drop to 6.25… Continue

Peoples Mortgage Market Update 7/21

The good news is you can call your broker and thank them for not moving all of your investment liquidity into cash last month. Stocks roared back with vigor last week. The bad news is that the rally in stocks was fueled by cash taken out of the bond market and as a result mortgage rates moved up nearly .50 a point in 4 days of trading.

Another cause of worsening rates that is below the radar of the public is simple capitalistic profit taking. Lenders have experienced such significant losses wit… Continue
