No problem, Pat. These could be easily adapted to not require public speaking, if that would make a difference. Not sure how comfortable you are with that.

Pat, here's a few ideas that may help you get started. Without knowing much about your business /industry the biggest obstacle I see for you is convincing the right person that investing with you will result in real savings for them.

I would suggest offering something of value (information) to get potential businesses "in the door". A short seminar on "# Ways to Reduce Health Care Costs in Your Business" presented to business owners would be good. You could organize your own event or (easier) offer to Chamber meetings, Business association lunches, Industry association meetings, etc. There are quite a few of these groups in and around Knoxville and most welcome speakers. Be sure one of the "ways" includes information about your services and (ideally) case studies/ real life examples.

Another idea (involving more time per prospect) would be to offer businesses a 1/2 day session/ event at their location for the employees. I would charge for this but make the fee reasonable and give a rebate for a businesses that sign up for your full service.

I hope this is something you can use or sparks some other ideas for you. Let me know if you want to brainstorm some more.
