- I am the founder and CEO of FiredUpNetwork.com, a business networking community that provides informational resources to its members. The site caters to those who are considering making a professional change and the resources are organized by the types of changes including: employment opportunities, entrepreneurial pursuits, company purchase for owner operation, fundraising and post-graduate education (MBA and JD).

- Who are you? Tell us a little about you...
- Matthew Pizzi is a graduate of the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania where he concentrated in finance and entrepreneurial management. Upon graduation, he worked in operations management where he managed 120 employees at ten client accounts and had P&L responsibility for $4 million in revenue. After this he worked in private equity investing for five years, most recently with Leucadia National Corporation (Ticker LUK) and York Capital Management. Upon leaving York at the beginning of 2009, Matthew struck out on his own to pursue his entrepreneurial ambitions.
