- What do you do?
- Uh, this is kindof hard... Basically I do whatever needs doing around here, especially things that no-one else knows how to do.
I work as funtional CEO of a bootstrapped venture that my wife started several years ago (Beyond Wine & Cheese Marketing), handling finance, technology, HR, strategy, among other things.
I also do independent consulting for small- to mid-sized businesses, preferring to work with startups and entrepreneuers. As part of this business, I've partnered with Leonard Knight to form Bright Software, LLC to act as a vehicle to get other ventures off the ground.

- I grew up in the small town Opp, AL, deep, DEEP in the heart of Dixie. I spent my early professional years in Nashville, Knoxville, and Chattanooga, TN, then realized my dream by moving out west. I now live in Mercer Island, WA, just outside of Seattle.
I have a BSEE degree from Auburn University and an MBA from the University of Washington in Seattle.
