- What do you do?
- I am the founder and CEO of Music-N-Motion, an educational music program for children utilizing music as our tool for learning. Learning can be fun and when paired with music, we retain facts in a part of our brain that holds the information forever, for later retrieval. If we add movement and visuals for those that learn by seeing, we help everyone learn in the way they learn best.
Music can also be fun so our goal is get children learning, singing and moving and to carry that forward the rest of their lives. It does not matter how we sing; it only matters that we sing becasue of its many great benefits!

- Who are you? Tell us a little about you...
- Prior to beginning Music-N-Motion in 1998, I was heavily involved in church music, leading children's choirs, working with handbell ensembles and singing but main role was that of Mom to 3 boys. I homeschooled for part of their elementary years. After they began school, I decided to take my experience with children in church and my the great tool of music and pair it with education for children right where they were each day, in preschool and afterschool to add some fun (and exciting learning) to their days. As most business owers, I did everything in the beginning including graphic design and accounting but thankfully, now I am blessed with 4 incredible Area Directors and a Regional Director so I can focus on what the company needs most, curriculum and growth.
