Real-Estate Investing Company, RK Properties, LLC which purchases 2-3 properties a year and holds them for rental income. Portfolio of properties includes Office, Retail, Restaurants, Commercial and Industrial Tracts.

Bright Software, LLC with a partner, Jay Albright, in Seattle, WA. Bright Software builds custom software applications, web services, content management systems, web based control systems. Partnering with clients on their projects to develop solutions which can be sold as services or finished products.

Shawn Van Dyke - Vice President

BS in Civil Engineering from the University of Tennessee, MS Structural Engineering from the University of Tennessee. Worked as a civil/structural engineer in Seattle, WA and Knoxville, TN. Also worked as PM for Blaine Construction and Construction Manager for Horne Properties, a real estate development firm. In 2005, Shawn started his own Construction Management Consulting firm, REDBUD Construction Services, LLC, providing consulting services for real estate developers . Shawn also owns a his own construction company, specializing in design and construction services for residential remodeling and renovation projects.

Graduated from Maryville College with a degree in Computer Science/Business. GPA 3.25. Worked as a temporary for TVA in the Education department on the scholarship and internship programs. Worked as Materials management at Breed Technologies. Worked with Logo Pros, Inc. promoting their business and bringing in new business raising it twenty-five percent. Worked for TBC Solutions as business development, writing proposals and working as project manager for some projects. Started my own grant writing business as owner instead of employee, writing grants for various non-profits.

Frank Podlaha - Director of Communications

Frank is from a small town in Connecticut, but left New England as a young man for an adventure in the U.S. Army as a Cobra Helicopter crew chief. While stationed in Germany, he took many opportunities to travel Europe. Also deployed to the Middle East, Frank is a veteran of Operation Desert Storm. During his “spare” time, Frank earned a degree in Aeronautics from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. Rocket scientist jokes aside, Frank was a real geek early on and dabbled with computers ever since his first Timex Sinclair at age eleven. Frank is the president and owner of Carp Data Service, LLC and has the vision of bringing easy-to-use Data Mining / Business Intelligence software to any business. With over seventeen years of software experience, Frank specializes in database and front-end applications.
