What do local business do for IT? Which companies do they use? Are they happy? What do they charge? How quick are they to respond/resolve?

We are definately going to need some IT support to include the purchase of new equipment. We just haven't decided who or how. It's hard to tell with out knowing what we exactly need. Definately going to have to implement some upgrades after the first of the year. Excellent. I would love to come by and talk about the scope of the project. We bill hourly for as long as it takes. I will email you my resume, which has some of the things I've done and software/hardware I"ve used.

I've used various small shops around town, and most of them have been, if not very fast in response, at least good at what they do. My issue is software more than hardware - I spend an ENDLESS amount of time trying to manage crashes in programs and haven't a clue (nor do I want to know) how to fix the stuff. Currently, my Outlook is very uncooperative. Well - anyway - my issue is that the shops I've found don't want to mess with software, they just want to do the networking and hardware stuff. I need a software person to handle upgrades, clean up my filthy keyboard, etc etc. If you do that, you're probably my guy. :-)

I love Software! Me and Bill Gates go way back, so I kinda understand the whole microsoft thing.
